The GEDC is the appointed certifying body for the Commonwealth Regional Migration Initiatives. There are many schemes designed to assist employers in the Goldfields-Esperance Region access skilled workers. Migration enables employers to nominate people from overseas, or temporary residents or visitors in Australia, to fill vacancies, that they employers cannot fill via the local labour market.

GEDC also has access to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's comprehensive skills matching database which contains CVs of qualified personnel wishing to migrate to regional Australia. The database may provide you with the people that you have been looking for. GEDC is available to help Goldfields-Esperance businesses and companies through the processes.
